Prophecy has the ability to directly integrate with BarTender Label Printing software (versions 2016-2022, Automation and Enterprise automation editions). Prophecy adds the ability to print and reprint labels directly through the application to assist in automating manufacturing printing operations.

Prerequisites

Before BarTender can be used in Prophecy it will need to be installed and configured. Configuration is outside the scope of this document. Information on configuring BarTender can be found here.

After the installation of BarTender, label templates will need to be created for any Labels that will be printed through Prophecy, if these templates do not already exist. Information on setting up BarTender Label Templates can be found here.

Prophecy requires BarTender Label Templates to be connected to a single named SQL database instance in order to operate properly. This named database instance must match the named database connection name in the Prophecy configuration. Information on setting up named BarTender SQL databases can be found here.
