The Supervisor area provides supervisors with a way to keep track of the jobs their employees have in process, the statuses of their employees, manage employee permissions, manage employee teams, manage transactions, and send workstation alerts. To access the Supervisor area, the user must either be set up as an admin or supervisor in Prophecy. Admins have the ability to access the Supervisor area directly without any additional validation. Admins will also see statuses and transactions of all employees. Users that have been set up as a Supervisor in Prophecy will need to also be given Supervisor permissions in Shop Floor Pro in the Manage Employees section. Supervisors will only be able to see their direct reports. Prophecy supports up to a three-tier hierarchy for Supervisors. For example, a Supervisor could have employees assigned to them that are also Supervisors. Those Supervisors could also have employees assigned to them that are also supervisors. In this example, when the level 1 supervisor logs into the Supervisors page, all direct reports and descending direct reports will be displayed.

There is a menu located in the top left corner of the page. This menu has the following navigation options available:

  • In Process Jobs: The In Process Jobs page will show a list of all jobs that are in process for the employees that are assigned to the supervisor. If logged in as an admin, then this list will show all jobs in the process.

  • Employee Statuses: The Employee Statuses page will show a list of all active employees that are assigned to the logged-in supervisor, as well as the statuses of the employees. If logged in as an admin, then this list will show all active employee statuses.

  • Manage Employees: This page allows supervisors or admins to Manage Employee permissions as well as set up default Work Centers for employees.

  • Manage Teams: This page allows supervisors or admins to create and manage teams of employees.

  • Transactions: This page allows supervisors or admins to view, export, edit, and in some cases delete employee transactions.

  • Send Alerts: This page allows supervisors or admins to send alerts to Shop Floor Pro Workstations.
